What does “meditation” mean in your family? Is it on your list of things to try, but you just never quite get to it? Is it something mom does for five minutes at the beginning of her yoga workout that you roll your eyes at? Or is it something you swear by but your overworked, overstressed parents have way too much life to make time for?
If any of those descriptions hit home, this workshop is for you. Jennifer is an international philanthropist, focused on innovative approaches to health, the mind and the role of technology plays in health and humanity. She is a founding member of the Chopra Foundation’s Self-Directed Biological Transformation Initiative, which explores radical wellbeing. She is also the former vice-chair of the Chopra Foundation Board. She is also a meditation master, speaker and mentor for the Nexus Global Summit community.
Jennifer has taught meditation and helped build family workshops and practices all over the world. She will co-teach this session with her son Evan who has been meditating since he was a toddler!
Jennifer will demystify the “woo” from the science of meditation and help you create a flexible, practical practice that works for you, gets the results you need, and creates a new family routine to stop, breathe and be in the moment together.
In addition to the tools you’ll leave with, families will enjoy downtime and activities on the gorgeous nine-acre JAR Farms estate fortified with delicious farm-to-table meals.
(Price includes all family members aged 11 or older, materials and chef-made farm-to-table meals. For non-locals, we recommend The Water’s Edge Hotel in Downtown Tiburon or The Tiburon Lodge.)
