Crying in Whole Foods: An Evening with Angie Kim

  • JAR Farms 2900 Paradise Drive Tiburon, CA, 94920 United States (map)

Superstar author Angie Kim is coming to JAR Farms for a teen writing workshop, but. . . hey! What about the moms? We decided to throw a party for the entire community while she is here. Angie will talk about her New York Times Bestselling Book (and also Good Morning America book club pick!) “Happiness Falls” which is being made into a movie!

Being an author is Angie’s FIFTH career— born of a breakdown in Whole Foods over her stress as a working mom. She’s an incredible inspiration to never settle or give up on your passions.

Angie is one of the most popular novelists in America today. She moved as a preteen from Seoul, South Korea, to the suburbs of Baltimore. After graduating from Interlochen Arts Academy, she studied philosophy at Stanford University and attended Harvard Law School, where she was an editor of the Harvard Law Review.

We’ll have beer and wine, farm-to-table appetizers and both of Angie’s incredible books for sale!

(All proceeds go to future JAR Farms retreat scholarships)
